Getting Started

First things first we want to get our hands on some hunter equipment. Make your way over to the general store at ;;home or ;;dz and pick up yourself some bird snare traps. For now that's all we will be using.

1-19

Now that we have our traps open up the teleport menu and go to Skilling>Hunter>Feldip Hills. Once you have arrived you will see the birds (Crimson Swifts) we will be hunting until we reach level 19.

19-53

For levels 19-53 we will be hunting the Tropical Wagtails. This can be pretty slow depending on your xp rate but I found it to be pretty fast overall.

53-73

From levels 53-73 we will be catching grey chins. These are located north west in Feldip Hills. These require box traps, so make sure you have them with you so you don't have to go back home!

73-83

From levels 73-83 we have a few options. You can go into the wilderness and catch Black chins or you can stick around and catch Red chins. Ultimately it is up to you. Personally I chose to just stick with Red Chins so I didn't have to deal with any pkers.

83-99

We are almost there! From 83 onwards we will be doing Crystal Chins. These are located under Teleports>Skilling>Hunter>Prifddinas. We will be staying here to finish out 99 Hunter!

Tips

• Birdhouse runs.

  These can be your best friend on your way to 99 Hunter if you despise the skill. Definitely worth looking into.

• Placing multiple traps.

  This can greatly increase your xp/hr dude to the amount of chins that you will be successfully catching overall. (You can place like 10 for example)

• Vote Rewards.

  Be sure to be using Vote Reward books throughout your time catching chins etc. It gives you a 1.5x increase in xp and makes a HUGE difference.

• Total Traps increased.

  As you level up you will be able to place more and more traps. Refer to the picture below for more info.

Getting Started

As always we are going to begin at the general store. Here you can get everything you need to make your life A LOT easier. The Talismans can be used to create tiaras, so that you can left click enter the ruins. This will make your Runecrafting grind soooo much better trust me. Since you can't buy the tiaras anywhere, you need to smith them using silver bars on an anvil. The tiara mould is for sell in the general store under the smithing tab. Once you have the tiara crafted, you can then create it buy using it on whichever altar you choose while the talisman is in your inventory and it will craft the tiara. All the teleports you will need will be under Teleports>Skilling>Runecrafting except for Blood and Soul Runes, but we will talk about those later. So buy up your essence, and let's get started!

Early Levels.

For the early levels we will be mining the Runestone Shards from ;;afk. Once you have a little bit stocked up use them on the Unstable Altar in the middle of the area. You can do this to whatever level you prefer. Personally on my x5 account I went to level 35 for chaos runes and then began. Depending on how efficient you want to be, you may stay here longer or shorter.

35-44

From 35-44 we will be crafting Chaos Runes. Don't forget to make your Chaos Tiara so you can left click the ruins!!

44-65

From 44-65 we will be crafting Nature Runes. Same thing here everyone DON'T FORGET THOSE TIARAS.

65-77

Let the fun begin. From 65 until 77 we will be stuck doing Death Runes. When I done this on my x5 it felt like forever but the grind will be worth it. Rinse and repeat here until we get the beloved Blood Runes.

77-90

Alright everyone, you've made it this far congrats! Now we get to do the more relaxing part of the grind. There is a little tip for this one and I will walk you all through how to set it up down below so skip down there if you are needing that information. The method for crafting Bloods on here is to mine the Dark Essence and then teleport to the Dark Altar THEN teleport back to the essence mine. Once at the Essence mine again you can take the short cut to the west. Follow the path while using the chisel on your Dark Essence and then craft your runes once you reach the altar.

90-99

For 90-99 we will be crafting Soul Runes. The same method used above will be applied here.

Tips.

• Vote Rewards.

  Be sure to be using Vote Reward books throughout your time catching chins etc. It gives you a 1.5x increase in xp and makes a HUGE difference.

• Sacrifice Rewards

  You can decide if this is worthwhile or not for you. Personally I chose to invest into Dense Dark Magic since I am x5 and it speeds up the process quite a bit over time.


• Recent Teleports

  Making use of the quick teleports makes Blood/Soul Runecrafting a breeze. Once you have teleported to the Essence mine it will become one of your Recent Teleports. The same thing will be done when you have teleported to the Dark Altar. So what we want to do is use our keybinds to our advantage here. We teleport to the essence mine and mine an inventory of essence. Once we have that we teleport to the Dark Altar and create our Dense Essence Blocks. Now open the teleport menu and simply press the 'T' key on your keyboard. This will take you back to the Essence Mine. Then proceed to whichever altar you are crafting (Blood/Soul) to craft your runes. As soon as the xp drop hits you can now teleport again, so open your teleport menu and then press your 'R' key. This will keep your loop going so you can go back and fourth to the Essence mine and Dark Altar with your hotkeys. If this doesn't make any sense I will post a video below of me doing an example run.
