Points

On OldSchool RSPS, we have a variety of different point systems to offer which can alternatively be exchanged for a bunch of untradeable items, skilling outfits/and resources, xp lamps, and much more! See down below for more information.

PvM points

• PvM shop can be found by speaking with the "Town Crier" at Home near the bank booths.
• You gain PvM points based on killing monsters above 70 combat or any level monster on a slayer task.
• The formula is as follows:
  • Monster hp / 33 = PvM points per kill.
• Some of the fastest methods to earn PvM points are:
  • Barraging Maniacal Monkeys (Training > Kruk's Dungeon)
  • Barraging Dust Devils (Slayer > Catacombs of Kourend)
• To view your PvM points, click ingame Quest tab > Character summary > Click the "i" on the top left.

Skilling points

• Skilling shop can be found North of home (next to Make-over mage) in Edgeville.
• Skilling points can be gained through a wide variety of in-game skilling activites, such as cleaning herbs, making darts, catching raw fish, cutting trees, and so on!
• Skilling Assignments will reward you with points on task completion.
• The formula is as follows: 100 skilling actions = 75 skilling points
• If you are a donator, you will receive additional skilling points:
  • Sapphire ($10): Additional +10 skilling points per 100 points earned
  • Emerald ($50): Additional +20 skilling points per 100 points earned
  • Ruby ($100): Additional +25 skilling points per 100 points earned.
  • Diamond ($250): Additional +35 skilling points per 100 points earned
  • Dragonstone ($500): Additional +50 skilling points per 100 points earned
  • Onyx ($1000): Additional +75 skilling points per 100 points earned
  • Zenyte ($2500): Additional +100 skilling points per 100 points earned
  • Tanzanite ($5000): Additional +150 skilling points per 100 points earned
• Additionally, you can earn extra skilling points by obtaining and completing skilling tasks! To obtain a task, visit "Ponts the skill master" North of Edgeville home. Once you've obtained a skilling task, you can view your task via ingame Quest tab > Task details
• To view your skilling points, click ingame Quest tab > Character summary > Miscellaneous stats

Affinity points

• Affinity shop can be found North of home, by trading Brother Tranquility.
• The dark mages of Gielinor have forced you to make a decision, quickly choose which god you wish to represent! Following options: Armadyl, Bandos, Guthix, Saradomin, Zamorak, and Zaros
• After selecting from the given options, you will need to receive a halo. In order to do so, talk to Brother Tranquility to get started. (NPC found North of home)
• Affinity points are gained by completing various of in-game skilling and PvM while equipping your halo. You will NOT receive affinity points if you do not have your halo equipped, that is unless you have the perks required (see information down below for more details).
• You CANNOT change from your god once you have already selected one. Your decision is FINAL so be extremely careful.
• To check how many affinity points you have, right click your halo in worn equipment tab and click "check". Or alternatively, right click the altar at North of home and select from the "Affinity" option.
• In order to use your affinity points, you'll need to right click the altar located North of home. You will be prompted with two options: Check affinity, or sacrifice your affinity. Select the "sacrifice" option. You will now have "faith tokens" in your inventory which is the currency you will need to unlock items/perks from Brother tranquility's store.
• The formula is as follows: 75 skilling actions = 10 Affinity.
• There are 2 abilities you can unlock/purchase with affinity points:

1. The slayer helmet ability will allow you to gain affinity while wearing a slayer helmet.
2. Any given skill set hat will allow you to gain affinity while wearing skilling hats (Angler/Lumberjack/Farmers/Promancer/Prospecter hat/helmet/hood)

Vote points

• Voting shop can be found North of home (next to Make-over mage) in Edgeville.
• Every successful vote, you will receive minimum of 10 Vote points (See Vote rewards for more info on how many points you get), x2 bonus xp vote book, and 350k gp upon claiming your vote.
• There is 1/65 chance you will receive a FREE $5 bond every time you successfully claim a vote.
• Every voting milestone (5/25/50/100/150/250 etc) you will receive additional perks for showing continuous support towards the server, view Vote rewards to view the corresponding topic for extra vote perks.
• To view your Vote points, click ingame Quest tab > Character summary > Miscellaneous stats
